Among the leading Churches in the capital city of Gujarat, Green City Bible Church (GCBC) in Sargasan, Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India is an interdenominational Bible based church. It started as a small prayer group in July , 1990 by Mr. Turner Challam IAS, Mr. D.J.Pandian IAS and Mr. Kamal Raj Johnson , Manager ,SBI , in the out house of CNI Church , Gandhinagar . Later it was shifted to a class room in Mount Carmel High School. Now it has grown into a leading Church in the city .The main church building was dedicated on July 8th, 2007. However, after a few years and with a growing membership, it was discovered to be too small to hold worshipers on Sundays. As a result, the decision was made to build a temporary structure on an adjacent plot of land the church owned until the main Church building could be expanded to hold more new members. Currently, the new building is where the Sunday service and all special meetings are taking place.
